Promoting healthy lifestyle  and  a smoke free environment are some topic being considered in the health nutrition program in ASEAN countries to make sure that the citizens in the community may have a healthy body and be a productive citizen. There are  a lot of things to consider to implement a program for health and nutrition but with a specific program of the government for planning, monitoring and evaluating the health of individual starting from children, adolescent and the pregnant mother, anything health problem may be given an attention.

The 2nd Association of Southeast Asian Nation Nutrition Surveillance Workshop held in Makati as one smoke free place is such a great gathering of representatives delegate of the ASEAN countries and development partners to present updates about the development in terms of strategies and monitoring of the nutrition program in the different ASEAN countries.

This kind of program was started from 1976 followed by the year 2008 and this year 2015.The said program is supported by the development partners such as UNICEF,WHO and FAO.Based on the messages of some speaker delegates they point out that nutrition program is a multi-dimensional program which involves partnership with other organization like in the agriculture, health, education and trade sector to ensure to have adequate food supply, proper implementation of socio-protection program and women's empowerment.

Second, there's the need of harmonization of data like example by the use of electronic reporting system being implemented in Malaysia so that  they will be able to give the necessary proper attention to the health problems of the children, adolescent and to all mothers.

The cooperation of the governing agencies of the ASEAN countries with the support of active development partners in the implementation of the said programs will be helpful in order that there will be more active and healthy children in the future.

While promoting proper nutrition programs, any prevailing illnesses from the adolescent like diabetes and obesity and anemia from the mothers will be prevented in increasing the number. It's really important to promote health awareness program in order that more Filipinos will learn to live a healthy lifestyle.
