Lighthouse was founded in Alabang, Muntinlupa, Philippines in 1990 by American missionaries Dr. Chuck and Sherry Quinley who were sent by the Church of God World Missions (Cleveland, Tennesee) to serve as the Director of Graduate Studies at the Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries (ASCM, Makati, Philippines).
